    FWIW, I live in AZ, valley of the sun, but not much if any farther South than Florida, and I have a Black '88 ntch, and a black Taurus SHO, And in the sun they become ovens, literally. Anything in direct sunlight becomes too hot to touch. Tint and a window shade would help but not sure how...

    The majority of hatered those guys have for the Mustang is just jealousy. They are jealous that at half the price of their car, the '05 Stang owners can beat their cars. And half the price includes mods. And that car is not in anyway a classy car...it looks ho-hum like every other sports...

    I live in Phoenix, AZ, valley of the sun...I haven't put a dash cover on my '88 notch, or my '97 SHO since I moved down here last June, I think they look stupid. I haven't had any problems yet. Just make sure and keep the dash "lubricated" with Armor-all or Black Magic etc. Use the "shaded"...

    The Mustang has been a uni-body car since day one in 1964. Unibodys are just as good, and alot lighter if built right. A framed vehicle holds up much better as in amt. of visible damage yes, but for passanger saftey having a car that crumples in the right spots to absorb the impact is light...

    Interesting. A Vette, what, $40,000, and a $32,000+ Cobra, with the real life cases, and the mags stating the Cobra will take the Vette, for (after dealer markup) almost $10,000 less. Yep...I guess the vette is REALLY beating up the Cobra. :rolleyes:

    wheel backspacing

    I was looking at a set of 5 lug Prostars for my 88 notch, and I know with the 15x8" wheel, I would use a 5.5" bs. Well now i found these other wheels that are 15x8, but only a 5" bs. Is that 1/2" going to cause me problems? Specifically, is it going to cause rubbing problems, and look stupid...
