    Differences between 2.3 and 5.0 k-member

I can't have a non-operable vehicle at my house so a donor/parts car is out of the question. I will have everything that I nedd parts wise(you know how that goes though) before I start the swap. I already have a motor sitting in the garage and some other small things but I won't start until I...

    Differences between 2.3 and 5.0 k-member

Differences between 2.3 and 5.0 k-member/front suspension What are the differences between the 2? What would I need to change on the 2.3 k-member to swap in a 5.0? I am not buying a donor car and I have read that a 2.3 k-member will work. I know the struts are different along with the...

    7.5 rear from 4cyl

It should be in there for 1 maybe 2 months at the most with NO strip involved. I will be building a 9" for it.

It isn't a 5.0. Cam, intake, and head work on the motor.

    7.5 rear from 4cyl

Just a quick question, can the 4cyl rear end stand up to about a month or so of easy driving behind a 325-350rwhp motor? I want to get a V8 swapped in ASAP and the rear is what is holding me up($$$)

How to build a badass 8.8?

I am having the same dilema as you are, the only difference is I got a 7.5 in mine right now so I have to start from scratch either way. I am leaning heavily towards the 9" bc I have 1 in the garage that I can cut down and swap in for relatively cheap. I have also looked at the Moser Fab 9...

    345ci Nitrous'd Notchback Progress Thread

Awesome notch!!! I have a 93 4cyl(not for long) that I will start working on when I get back from deployment. I have a few of questions regarding your set-up: How do you like UPR's products? What all is done to your 8.8? Internal and external mods What are the specs on your tire/rim combo?

    8.8 rear end set-up

First off I want to say thank you for all the answers to my other questions. I can't wait to return home from deployment to start working on this car!! What are you guys running in the 8.8 behind a healthy motor? I want to build the 8.8 to handle 500-600 rwhp(I don't have that but I want to...

    K-member questions

A lot of street driving and some strip(maybe 10-12 times a year). I would like the car to handle well on the street and hook at the track. I don't need the car to be road race worthy but also not too "spongy" in the not straight driving.

    K-member questions

I am swapping my 4cyl out for a V8 and I am looking at 3 different k-members and would like some feedback on them. I will drive the car on the street more than the strip. So far I have looked at Maximum Motorsports(pricey but beefy), UPR, and AJE(both priced fairly well). Are there...

    8.8 for 4cyl to V8 swap questions

No worries, I am trying to learn myself. I am not worried about discs as much as I am about rear-end strength. My main goal is to do this as cheap as possible. I have found some rear ends from 86-93 for under $300 and I am sure I can find one for cheaper when I get home.

Can't wait to start my 93 Coupe with a 6.0l/th400 when I get back from deployment. Wish I could see the pics, it sounds very promising to me for the 1/4 mile times!!
