fuel pump wont run started thru the checklist have power to red wire on relay and if i check for power on the green with yellow tracer the with the volt meter the pump will run, i dont get it , does this mean im lacking a ground?? please help im not real good with these electrical issues

Yes I have 12 volts from the relay ,anything else I should be checking?

I went thru the normal checklist for fuel pump issues, in process of checking everything I noticed the low oil sensor that goes into the oil pan is broke off we just got this car recently not sue when or how long its been that way. Would this keep the fuel pump from running?? Some kind of safety...

What important info do I need to know to switch from speed density to mass air?? Conversion harness or full harness swap? Know I need an a9l, have maf sensors, what else should I be thinking about?

we got the fuel pump issue taken care of and working properly on my sons 88 foxbody,now on to the rest of the problems, car ran ok when we got it but not great, my son put on cai, headers, off road h pipe and removed emissions stuff one day while i was at work. i fixed up all the vac lines etc...

jrchker you have been very helpful, finally found the issue they jumpered it back at the inertia switch and they hid it well but with your diagrams and input we got it straightened out , thank you for your help

Jrichker you have a wealth of knowledge thanks for sharing it, one more question is it possible it may be the eec relay?? When I unplug it the pump stops running and the fuel pump relay under seat is out and computer is unplugged

I think the bozo reference is right on the money, I found they jumpered the four ways in place of the relay , any ideas where I should look?? Don't see any new or out of place wires in the back or around the tank.

sorry my mistake its an 88 we looked at so many in a couple days im still confused, but i know it dont have a mass air flow sensor

we recently brought home another foxbody 89 gt 5spd with the speed density setup. it didnt run that great when we got it, played with timing, new plugs, cap, rotor etceven swapped in a known dizzy, it would run great for a little while then turn to crap again even died and was hard starting but...

the ign switch was my next best guess but couldnt figure a tie in to what they worked on , im no electrical guy but i gotta fix this for them, im gonna try swappin the switch out thanks , any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks again

my son and his buddy changed head gaskets in his 92 fox, they have done this before and changed motors etc. htis time when they were done they have an electrical problem, everything is powered even with the key off , im talkin power windows, radio etc and none was powered with key off before...

my son has a 92 gt with 8.8 posi 3.73, is there a way to determine what axles are in it 28 or 31 spline without tearing it apart first?? thinkin about getting him c clip elim and a spool, thanks

we got it running today , it was the NEW bbk fuel pressure reg , cant get a replacement til mon had to put the stocker on , but it finally runs and it is awesome cant wait til its tuned right and the rest of the way done
