    Electrical Intermittent Wipers Working Intermittently

That's how mine started, could switch to low or high and they would start working again until they finally quit completely.

    Electrical Intermittent Wipers Working Intermittently

It's in the brown box that I took pictures of. In my car it's located under the dash right above the clutch petal.

    Electrical Intermittent Wipers Working Intermittently

Well, thought I had it fixed until this morning, and after a little diving into the governor control I found a bad solder joint on the circuit bord feeding the questionable relay. Resoldered the pin to the circuit bord and bingo! Problem solved. Easier than junk yard shopping for stock Fox...

    Electrical Intermittent Wipers Working Intermittently

Ahh, resolution... After studying wiring diagrams and seeing what could be the possible issue over years, finally found that the relay in the wiper governor is having bad contact. Finally located it under driver's side dash, removed it and popped the case. Hooked it back up and flicked it. All...

    Electrical Intermittent Wipers Working Intermittently

Cool will do this evening, but just a thought, what energizes the park switch disk normally? Is it through the multifunction switch, or something else? I checked the governer box last night and it seems to be functioning properly. Well, lets go pull a steering column cover! Thanks for the help

    Electrical Intermittent Wipers Working Intermittently

Resurrection! Still have had issues and just replaced wiper motor assembly. Intermittent works with a jumper between db/o and b/w. Runs on high speed and jumper gets hot, but functions properly. Otherwise wont park and intermittent doesn't work at all, only hi and low speed with timing it to park...

Engine Arrghhh! Cold Start, Surging/stalling Problem

I do have one more follow up, after installing the new MAP sensor, the 41/91 went away, running well, but the ECM threw a code for the TPS out of range. It was probably because of me messing with it, but I thought, "what's another $35 at this point?". Anywho, I believe what happened is this...

Engine Arrghhh! Cold Start, Surging/stalling Problem

Engine Arrghhh! Cold Start, Surging/stalling Problem

A friend directed me to this for a 41/91 test, and it does give some useful info. Not sure if anyone else has come across it. O2 Sensor Codes 41/42/91/92 Troubleshooting @jrichker , I hate to call you out again, but if you don't mind, read my above post from yesterday, and well, yeah. Ideas?

Engine Arrghhh! Cold Start, Surging/stalling Problem

New update. Forced a lean condition in the intake by un-capping the vacuum port for the carbon canister purge (it has been capped), and pulling the PCV valve out of the intake. Cold start then stall went away immediately. Engine ran great, but idling about 1400-1600 rpm (not an issue, I know...

Engine Arrghhh! Cold Start, Surging/stalling Problem

Update, I guess... IAB is not causing the surge, as with it disconnected, she still surges like hell. Also tried disconnecting the TPS, and she would still be drivable with that disconnected, so that makes me believe again, that my MAP sensor is ok. Finally, I disconnected the O2s from their...

    1990 Fox With 1980 302 Accessory Bracket?

With a carb on a 1990, I don't think you're going through emissions. Lol, as far a converting a non-roller to accept a roller cam, easy. Look at the bottom of the page on this link: COMP Cams Catalog - Lifters Hydraulic Roller Lifter Installation Kit Ford Retro Fit Kit P.S. Good luck with...

    1990 Fox With 1980 302 Accessory Bracket?

Just because it has roller rockers, does not mean it is a roller cam engine. When we refer to this, we mean the lifters that ride on the cam itself have rollers. If that is a 1980 block, it would be a "flat tappet" cam engine, meaning the lifters are flat where they meet the cam lobes, and...
