Is this for a Fox or something else? As far as I remember, Fox's don't control the compressor with the ECU, they just disable it at WOT. If you say exactly what you're trying to do electrically, we can tell you how to do it.

We don't have the sort of margins to allow us to "share" them with other companies at the current pricing structure. We're essentially selling an MS3Pro for MS2PNP money. So to let LMR or others sell them, we'd have to raise the price (and we'd have to raise it on our own site as well as LMR...

Thanks. Yes, it's certainly "possible" to max out the i/o's but it's certainly not "normal", especially if some of the stuff you're controlling can use the digital ones. The tynyio is likely the best option.

This isn't correct. We removed no card/module to add trans control. We added a microsquirt module for the TCU but we did not remove anything to do so. You can also still add a cased micrquirt via CAN for added i/o flexibility (though we've already got so much i/o that it would be rare to ever...

Make sure when you connect, if it says there is a mismatch and asks if you want to use controller settings or TunerStudio settings, you select controller (ECU) settings. If you do the opposite, you replace the tune on the ECU with whatever is open in TunerStudio. Then you file>save as like...

    208 Mph Police Chase

I'm aware it's certainly possible to go that fast in a Mustang (Stock GT500's do so with enough straight flat road). They just aren't owned by teenagers and they aren't mostly stock with nitrous.

I know a guy who knows this kid and has ridden in the car. It's not heavily modified but it does have nitrous. Regardless, stock gearing should indicate it wasn't going over 180 mph.

    Flomaster 40s Which Offset?

Offset/Offset is the typical Mustang setup. If you're not running tails then the outlet offset doesn't really matter.

Yeah, wideband is the only way to go with boost (and really you're greatly complicating things by not having one when N/A). We offer a WB designed for Megasquirt based ECU's (but works just as well with others) for $125.

Yes, that's why I said warm it up and dial in the VE table, then go back to the startup stuff afterwards. If you adjust startup stuff first, you'll be doing it again after you tune the VE table.

If it starts better in flood clear (when NO fuel is injected) then it's getting way too much fuel from the priming pulse or the cranking pulse, or both. Starting while in flood clear means it's starting purely on the excess fuel injected before it was in flood clear mode. Regardless, once it's...

Correct! Ours is MS3 based so it does this (plus traction control, boost by gear, etc.) that the MS2 based ones don't do.

@Mustang5L5 There are multiple plug and play Megasquirt based options available for this application. They are all speed density (but can use mass-air if you prefer that method) and all control every aspect of running the engine, not just the fueling, and don't require EDIS. What sort of...

You can download their base tune on their site. There is only a "stock 5.0" tune for each PNP version so that's your starting point unless you use the one a91what attached here instead. The warnings are probably because the tune was created for a different firmware version (can't say for sure...

@90sickfox you don't have to use their adapter, though I'd suggest making sure the one you buy uses an FTDI chipset as the Prolific chipset versions are known to be trouble makers (unfortunately they also seem to be more common). That's probably the easiest way to get the files off the CD, use...

I don't know why, probably the same reason the tag from Sunday for me also didn't notify me. It wouldn't hurt to also try a more "realistic" value of 20 as the fixed value (that's closer to normal idle advance) and then populate the table with the same value. This way you're testing a value...

@hoopty5.0 To help with diagnosis, is this a stock distributor or aftermarket? Does it run if you populate the timing table with the same value as your fix timing value? For example, if your fixed timing is 20 degrees, set your advance table to 20 degrees and see if it runs. This is to...
