I have a quick question regarding a 93 cobra rearend I have acquired. Can I use the stock disc brakes from the rearend and just put in 5-lug axles? Or will I have to get new brakes and what not when I put in the new axles?

I would definately be installing bigger injectors even with the fmu. just to be on the safe side and prevent any lean issues that may or may not arise. Someone else chime in if they feel the same way i do.

Where could a get one of those Thermo-tech ignition wire sleaves at? I'm fixing to put a new clutch cable in my car, and don't want to deal with melting problems and such. Thanks

The pickup was clean and there was no debris. I think that a oil galley plug may have came out from behind the timing chain cover. I'm going to pull the cover and see what I can find out. If there is no problem there I'll pull the motor and tear it apart.

Its not the gauge or sending unit, I have NO pressure. I've changed the pump and shaft is perfectly fine. You can hear the lifters ticking now b/c there's no pressure getting up there. I'm planning on pulling a valve cover tomorrow and see what happens.

Is that the machine shops fault when putting them in? Should they be responcible?

What is the oil galley plug? I did change the oil filter and oil when I did the pump too.

I changed the oil pump with a brand new Ford one. I put everything back together primed the oil pump and such and started it up and still no pressure. The lifters are also now ticking. Does anybody now what problem this might be?

Does anyone know if Summit warranties these oil pumps that come in their kits? Is there anyway of getting one cheaper from them or should I just go to the local engine building shop and get one? Is there anymore feedback on changing one of these?
