    Overheating Issues

Just an update, since it seems like its not done a lot lol. I put my starter solenoid in my inner fenderwell, and put my fan relay switch in place of the solenoid. I started the car, front up high up in the air and added the coolant. All air bubbles out and let the car war up for like 20 minutes...

Does This Car Look If It's Sitting Too Low?

Are you running your inner fenderwells still?

Does This Car Look If It's Sitting Too Low?

That's odd, I don't have that issue, and I am that low. I don't know why either. The only issue I have had, is that I can not run inner fenderwells. If I do, it rubs like crazy with every little bump or dip I hit. I am actually trying to find a way around this. Can you run your fenderwells...

    Overheating Issues

Well, that settles that, time to get rid of my AC!!!! Lol yeah right, I actually enjoy having it lol. I am hoping this new radiator, and electric fan (whenever LMR gets it to me) will take care of all my issues. On a related not to the fan, LMR was able to replace my fan with the correct one...

Anyone Know Much About Hid Headlights?

Ok, to start off, are you HID's in the standard housing, or are they in Projector Shrouds? If they are not in shrouds, what is happening, is that light is spreading EVERYWHERE. The end result, is your not having your light go in a straight path and your blinding all the drivers in front of you...

    Overheating Issues

Thanks for the help fellas! Two days, and I am not going to be able to get this car done lol. Putting this stuff in isn't taking two days, but I have prolonged it with other duties, as well as some complications. First complication, LMR sent me the wrong fan setup. Doesn't mount up and wasn't...

SOLD 15" Proform Electric Fan W/180-240 Thermostat

As the title says, its a 15" ProForm Electric fan with an adjustable thermostat. This item is about 4 months old. It still works and has less only been on for about 1K miles. I bought this as a budget buy until I could get a 3 core radiator and dual fans. This things works MUCH better than the...

    Overheating Issues

Ok, so I have been having some over heating issues, and normally I can diagnose my car, but I am running out of options. I don't have much done to the car, except E-cam, 75mm MAF/TB, 3G alternator, suspension work, drivetrain work and some other stuff. I was having this issue before winter...

    Junkyard Contour/mark 8 E Fans

$114??? Holy moly, it come with a tube of vaseline too? That is way too much for a used fan, like Gearbanger stated. That with the price of your controller, you could buy a good one from AM or LMR.

    Won't Start

Can you hear your fuel pump prime? Are you getting spark? How is your fuel pressure (assuming your fuel pump is priming) at the rails?

    Disappointing Times At The Track!!

That's great to hear! I was hitting 9.7 (1/8) with 75mm TB, MAF, crappy tires, E303 Cam, stock heads & intake manifold, while having clutch/cable issues getting into 2nd gear. I am having the same issue with no lower end power, and I am also having idle surge issues. When I get my torque box...

    Upr Clutch Cable & Quadrant

What I plan on doing is measuring the size of the cable of my current adjustable and measuring the size of the UPR one. If the UPR is not thicker, I don't think I will chance it, and order a FRPP or MM. Anyone know the gauging or thickness of the two cables?

    Under Hood Insulator

Yes, you will want the front of the car jacked up on jackstands, set your ebrake, or blocks behind the rear wheels, disconnect the exhaust at the headers and start her up. Don't rev it, or drive it like this though. Let it idle as long as you did before and check to see how hot your headers and...

    Under Hood Insulator

If this happens while letting the car idle in the garage, what I would do, is disconnect the exhaust after the headers. Let it idle just like you would before and see if you see a heat difference. I would highly recommend NOT driving it this way though. Just my way of diagnosing if its a clogged...

    Upr Clutch Cable & Quadrant

MFE92, I will take some pictures. Hopefully their quality is better than they use to be. If anything, I buy a FRPP cable. The quadrant and the firewall adjuster are worth the $70. SoFlStang, I will let you know. If the cable is cheap looking, it won't even be installed. I guess only time will...

Thanks for the info VibrantRedGt! I am hoping this cable lasts me for some time. The adjustable I have in it now has lasted almost 4 years IIRC.

    Upr Clutch Cable & Quadrant

Just ordered UPR's non adjustable cable, firewall adjuster and 3-set quadrant. Hopefully this will give me a better feel in the pedal, and help my shifting issues.

    Upr Clutch Cable & Quadrant

Oh wow, thanks guys. You do learn something new every day! I currently have an aluminum quadrant, but its a single hook. Do you guys recommend upgrading to a dual or triple hook, or keep the single with a firewall adjuster? Thanks a lot, right now I have washers on the end of my adjustable...
