Probably a stupid question, but I'm going to be replacing my stock wheels/tires this spring and was thinking about getting two of the stock 17" rims mounted with drag radials for the strip. Anyone know if they make them in a size to fit that or if it's even worth it to try and do this?

Yeah it sounds like they might have to cut some pipe and put a new angle in there or something along those lines. That sucks but surely a little muffler shop could hook you up for cheap.

I lowered mine with the FRPP K-Springs and didn't NEED the adjustable panhard bar but as it's already been stated, the lower you go the further it changes your suspension geometry so I went ahead and picked up the double adjustable panhard bar from UPR Products. Figured it's a decently cheap...

If you did do the swap you'd have to pick up the controller pack for around 1500 dollars. So if you could do the work yourself you'd probably just be better off rebuilding what you've got. Unless you happen to come across a really good deal on an aluminator like SpartaPerformance suggested.

The MGW was $280, but they are awesome! I've heard of some complaints, never owned others, about rattling or hard shifts with the Steeda and Pro 5.0 shifters. To each is own, I just love the MGW shifters and have always had great results with them.

So I'm really thinking about getting a matte black super snake stripe for my GT. I've seen some pictures and I really like it. I just don't want to do something permanent and then decide I don't like it. What's everyone think? The new wheels I'm going to be putting on are Anthracite Bullitt...

+1 on the MGW. I had one in my 02 GT and it was one of the best mods I made. I've got one in the box at home:nice: waiting for install on the 08 GT when I get back from this sh**hole country! :)

I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the O/R H-pipe. I like that deeper sound with these motors. Just trying to figure it out! Decisions decisions. I've got some time though, I gotta get it ready for Hot Rod PowerTour 2012. My dad is thinking about getting an X on his 06 so it's become a comp now!

Yeah you would have to buy a new mid-pipe if you switched to LT headers. Obviously because it has to be shorter. If you are going to go LT I think I would personally just wait until you get the headers and get the mid-pipe at the same time. Just opinion though.:nice:

Being that the 40 series are chambered I was leaning more towards the h-pipe but not sure, hence the thread! :shrug:

Just looking for some opinions. I've got an '08 Mustang GT with a JLT CAI, FRPP Hot Rod Cams, Flowmaster 40 series and am trying to decide whether to get an X or off road H-pipe. I want great sound and some of the sound clips I've heard with the x-pipes are almost too "dirty" of a sound...
