    turns out the ecm was bad. everything kept changing made it very difficult to diagnose. so i tested the ecu as jrichker suggested and it was the ecm. i threw another a9p in and runs great

    i did just replace and put on a brand new ignition switch (lock ignition cylinder) and new ignition module that goes on steering column

    i did do a test jumper i saw this response in another thread.when i gounded it out with a test lead fuel pump kicked on. but i have spark and still wont start. when i jump this to a ground and pump runs this means the ecu is bad correct? the fuel is about 6 months old i would expect to run ruff...

    My car has installed the A9P ecm, it has a 5 speed conversion on it so i should be able to use the A9L or A9P either or correct? one is just for auto and the l is for 5 speed. would like to get my cruise control working again
