Here is another wonderfull run in with said sensor.(btw 97 3.8L it is located not to the right of the thermostat but it is the sensor to the left) I found out that my girls stang was getting hot so i replaced the sensor, still ran hot and fan would not turn on so thinking I got a bad sensor...
