Sorry... Ford switched to the AODE a few years after 92. I should have put 2 and 2 together when the 1-D-1 shuffle was brought up. Good luck with your mods and let us know how they work.

Me and a friend installed 373's and a SCT tuner from american muscle on his 2000 automatic.. It made a very noticable difference in all the shift points in the trans. and the gears really woke up the car. This could be an option for you.

I didn't read completely through jRichker's post so sorry if i'm reposting an idea. Have you checked your fuse panel? When they yanked the radio and tried to start the car it could have popped some fuses?

Thanks RaceoHolic......My work schedule in the past has limited my ability to enjoy the car fully. In the past 4 years I've put less than 1500 miles on it. This year I plan on that changing. I assume you are in the Allentown area?
