    Fuel Lines

Thanks guys, especially @Spaz for the photos. I was going to do that but after visiting a local shop, we were able to settle on the idea of cutting the soft line off and flaring the steel lines. Then using fittings go straight to the russell lines. If those aren't long enough I also got the...

    Fuel Lines

Yeah, I have found this out. That was my original thought on the installation. Are the Russell stainless lines both -6 AN? Or is one a -6 and one a -8? I seem to have found the correct Earl fittings that I need to solve my issue. The pictures would still be very useful @Spaz Thanks guys

    Fuel Lines

I guess the big question is how these Russell braided lines are supposed to be installed in the first place. I've seen some places where they say they replace the soft lines coming from the frame rail without modification...which doesn't make sense to me.

    Fuel Lines

Awesome thanks. I do understand that clamps and barbs aren't the correct way to fix them, but it does work. I may just take it to a shop and have them replace the lines all the way back to the metal lines on the frame. I just trying to find an option that works and gets my car back on the road.

    Fuel Lines

I agree. But I would find it hard to believe that not one has repaired a fuel in this situation. So km sure there is a fitting somewhere that has the barb on one end and threads on the other....

Fixing Dd After A Engine Bay Fire

I have these: http://www.americanmuscle.com/russell-fuel-line-kit-8793gt.html And I need to connect them to the nylon fuel line. I also have these: http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-fuelrail-8693.html So the lines will plug into the fuel rails, but I don't know if I like just plugging them in...

Fixing Dd After A Engine Bay Fire

Thanks for that very long reply. I have read most of it before, which is why I decided long ago that i didn't care nor felt the need to keep the EGR working. As for the carbon canister, it is on the same list with the EGR. Not needed and will just take up more time to hook up and mess with. I...

Fixing Dd After A Engine Bay Fire

Oh. Well let's hope it is alright. I have pushed the car around and the brake worked....but that was with the car off etc etc, so I guess I won't know until it runs again unless there is a way to test it. Plus everything in that general area was fairly untouched by the fire. It was centered...

Fixing Dd After A Engine Bay Fire

I had my stock fuel rail burst and spray gas all over my distributor, it went poof and ruined anything and everything melt-able on the top of engine along with destroyed the hood....and now that I have gotten valve covers, upper/lower intake back from paint, I am finally starting to assemble...

    Dyno Tuning Baltimore, Md Area?

Thanks guys. Turns out, with what I have done to my car, a tune would be a bit of a waste. So I'm looking into just building a rear end.

    Dyno Tuning Baltimore, Md Area?

Hey guys, I'm looking to get my car dnyoed and I don't know any information about the shops in my area. Anyone in Maryland, even into PA, but preferable in the Harrisburg/Lancaster/Yrok area, know of any good shops to get this done? My plan was to get the SCT 4-bank eliminator chip from AM...

Mustang TPS Adjustment - 0.999999v not necessary

I was getting a TPS code. So I got the TPS to read 0.806V and then disconnect the battery for 15mins....and still high idle. Not as bad though. It was continuously around 1500rpm, now it might hit 1500rpm, but stays around 1100rpm for the most part.

Mustang TPS Adjustment - 0.999999v not necessary

So I adjusted the tps, and it is sitting ~0.806V.... But I am still idling around 1100rpm and I can't get it to go down.... Also, I currently have only one vacuum line going to the carbon canister....how many should there be?
