Im rebuilding my '92 Gt's rear-end with some different gears...my friend has gears and a posi unit from a '97 cobra and is willing to let me have them but will they fit? do i have to worry with the teeth on the axle shafts fitting? both rear ends are 8.8's...

Engine cold, all 4 cylinders on driver side, throttle closed...im not really worried about it. It was a lot nicer outside today and there was no smoke coming out of the exhaust today

Honestly i didnt...i bought the rearend as whole peice (axles and all) so i assumed everything was done right. I never considered the U-joint. I realize the amount of possibilities there and i appreciate the help! :D
