    Progress Thread Project Copper Can

Man, what a beautiful job! So clean and classy, but with fantastic color and design ideas that really making it pop. I might have to start snooping around the Southern MD cruises to see this thing in person!

    Our 1st Cars

1973 AMC Gremlin. Pulled the 6 cyl and and built a 360 with dual quads, long tubes, and a 4 speed. A lot of people were very surprised, hahaha.

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

Exactly. I'd like for them to be milled some to up my compression a little. But that's not a fun thing, to set the lower on and the holes don't line up!

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

Right, from what I'm reading, they had a slightly larger combustion chamber, but they would actually need to be measured. The heads came off a pretty damn stout 302, and were very well built, which makes me wonder if they've been milled.

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

Yeah, I'm really not worried about it, curiosity got the better of me. I've already rebuilt them with new springs, seals, and a set of Manley valves. They will be going on this weekend!

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

Interesting, I've found a lot of conflicting data around the internet, haha. Now, I can eliminate them being from a '93 Cobra/Lightning because of the 10/94 production date, correct? Also, you guys are awesome, and I really appreciate the help!

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

Hmm, the casting number charts I've seen said Explorer, but like I said, I'm still new to Ford. Yes, it has thermactor ports. And the bolt holes are 1/2". With all the reading I've done, people have been saying some Cobras and some Explorers had 1/2" holes. I Initially thought 351 until I...

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

I knew it would be that easy! Amazing that I came up empty trying to figure that out (although the date was pretty obvious). Thanks a lot, Mike!

    Engine Dated Gt40 Heads

Hey guys, I'm looking for a little knowledge that I haven't been able to pin down. I'm pretty new to Fords, but have done tons of research and have a pretty decent idea of parts and such. On to my question.... I've got a set of GT40 heads. They are cast F1ZE-AA, so off of an Explorer, I...

Too Many Red Calipers Out There?

My calipers and drums were red when I bought the car. My first order of business, literally right when I got the car home, was to paint them black. Nothing against anyone who, just not my style. If you like it, keep it!

Thanks, toolow. This is my first experience with a Fox (or any Ford). I've only had it for about 9 months, and I'm really starting to fall for it!

My Fox Is 25yo. Historical Plates?

I'm in MD with historic plates on mine. I drive it to work every once in a while, but mostly on weekends. If I were to be questioned, seems like I could just say I was test driving, which would be true since I'm constantly messing with it, haha. Historic plates are great. Inexpensive, no...

    New Guy Here

Hey everyone! I've recently come to own a 1990 GT. I've never been a Mustang guy, but was never against them or anything. I've always thought the Fox bodies were sharp looking. The opportunity came up to own one, and I went for it! On to the car... Like I said, it's a 1990 GT. I have not done...
