Cool project. Just make sure the voltage of the LEDs is compatible with the car. The stock dash lights could be getting as much as 14 volts and those radio shack LEDs are rated at around 3-6 volts. You may have to install something to cut down the volts.

*UPDATE* I checked the Ford service manual and in order to do it the right way 3 special tools are required. So I brought it to my local shop and they charged me $125 (1 hour labor+seal+gear oil+tax).

My '01 GT suddenly started leaking from the rear end-near the pinion seal where the driveshaft goes into the rear. It's stock and was never apart so I don't know why it started leaking, but anyway, has anyone ever personally replaced this seal? I would like to do it myself but I don't know...

I've had the pro-kit springs in my car 2 1/2 years and almost 30,000 miles now with no cc plates and no alignment. The car seems to drive fine, and the tires have not worn abnormally. However, getting the plates and alignment is probably the correct way, but not necessary.

Hey sig1029, what brand/size rear tires do you have on that Bullitt?

Does it happen while braking? The squeak on my car went away while braking. I would drive down a road over bumps and it would squeak. Then I would go down the same road with some light brake pressure, and no squeak. I think it's something with the rear calipers.
