You may want to look at a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx. I bought them last year and I am really pleased with their grip versus the factory Pirelli's. They are holding up well to daily thrashings and wearing evenly as long as they are rotated.
Apparently aftermarket rotors/calipers are hard to find that are still compatible with the factory 18's. Any suggestion for kits? I don't want to spend the extra money to upgrade wheels and of course tires, but still want to increase my front braking performance.

Where did you find the brake cooling ducts (pictures, brand name, website)? Also, did Ford replace your cracked rotor under warranty even though you changed your pads? Out of curiosity, did you change to a higher temperature rated brake fluid also?
Wreckless: did you ever get this problem sorted out? I have a'12 GT with about 25k miles, and am experiencing similar front suspension noise. My daily commute involves 28 speed bumps roundtrip, and I hear the noise whenever I hit them at just the right speed that makes the front suspension...
I am really surprised/disappointed how poorly this car puts the power down with any amount of steering angle. I would be geniunely scared to drive this thing on the street without the ESC watching over me.
