If not I would try the drill and make sure you got pressure with it then put it back together and give it a whirl. That's an odd situation.

Never seen the inside of a pump but maybe a problem there is the only other thing or a possible air bubble that you got out with the drill if that could happen have you tried putting it back together now that you got pressure with the drill.

Maybe your dizzy or shaft is stripped. Does it seem as long as it should be possible it snapped up high?

By the way what is a good ignition setup cause in due time I will need more power so it shouldn't take much to break that 400-450 mark. Everybody I know runs msd and I due agree all my dirt racing experience shows msd fails ALOT. I just never seen that much of a problem with street cars.
