Best high rpm intake this side of sheet metal. Not that I've ever used or seen one.

New car Built 331-347 or FRPP 460-514

IIRC the 429 SCJ also came with a 4 bolt main block. Here's a good site with Lima OEM info: http://www.429mustangcougarinfo.50megs.com/components_3.htm

    mini spool in 8.8

Mine was a four piece also but came with directions. I wonder if the people who say they don't fit even tried to install one or if they bought a solid minispool. Thanks for your tips. :flag:

    mini spool in 8.8

I wonder if some of the clunking isnt coming from the posi pack that you used for spacing. Oh btw I just finished installing mine. It took me about 5 tries to get the right thickness of shims and clutch parts to make it fit snug. I have no idea how you couldnt fit the 3 piece mini spool in...

I feel sorry for our Brit stangers.....

My local dealer is selling both their GTs at MSRP. The only reason is because one is going to the dealership owner and the other is going to Jack Roush.

    mini spool in 8.8

I've read that the mini-spools are made for the open (non trac lok) rear ends. I wonder if the axles are different length in an open rear?

1/4 mile vid of 05 Stang GT

I had 1000 miles on the car when I ran the 13.5. There was a Mach at the track today running 14.0s. I asked him at what RPM he was shifting and he said 5800. Doh. He should be shifting 1st at 6800 and the other gears at around 6200-6400. It was his first day at the track. It's really easy...

1/4 mile vid of 05 Stang GT

An auto GT running low 14s is an improvement over the current GT, right? If the 2005 comes out with near 300 HP it will run mid 13s IMO. I'm going to disagree with this statement. The second time I took my Mach to the track I ran a 13.5. The only reason I didn't run in the 13s the first...

wtf is car and driver smoking

Either your track is at a high elevation, is greasy, or drivers in the N.W. are terrible! :D The only time I haven't been able to run mid 13s with my Mach was the time there was water on the starting line. I've only raced one other manual car before my Mach so I'm no expert. Also the last...

    2004 SRT-4 vs. 93 5.0 Mustang

There's always 5 or more SRT-4s at my local track. No idea on mods but serveral of them MPH at 105-106 every pass. Their ETs vary from low 13s to mid 14s.

    429 swap?

If it has a shaker then there's a good chance it's a 429 Cobra Jet or Super Cobra Jet. Great running engines and worth $$$ to the muscle car crowd.

Is there an easy way to install summit polypropylene seats.

McClure racing makes some brakets for the JAZ/Summit seats. http://www.mcclureracing.com/index.php?src=directory&view=products&srctype=display&back=products&id=3&view=products&category=Mustang%20Parts&pos=0,5,5

    351 GT40 buildup?

I think the GT40P heads and your orginal intake choice would be on the small side for a 351.

Good luck finding a F4TE 351 roller block!!

I'm not sure what you mean by a 94 HD block, I'm 98% certain the F4TE is a production block and it's thin around the mains. I wouldn't use it as the basis of a 750 HP motor. Now if you're talking the Sportsman block then that's a different animal.
