    The higher the MP3 compression, the better bass response it is going to have. They say 128kbps is cd quality, I think 192 is more like it. I dont use any mp3's under 192 because of the lack of quality definition. Try grabbing some mp3's off line that are at 320 and see how these sound.

    Honestly, I dont ever want to do it again since it was the drivers side head. It was difficult getting the head around the brake master cylinder. I am sure it wouldnt have been as hard since I was fairly inexperienced at the time. Oh yeah, just an FYI, this all happened on my 2000 crystal...

    You may want to put it on a dyno and/or get an autotap or something that can datalog or at least help you trace down the issue.

    If you did delete's, You should have had a chip burned for it to turn off the IMRC functions in the EEC. This can cause issues especially if its trying to read the car as if they are there.. but if your loosing power like that on the top end, i doubt its the IMRC's since you dont have the plates...
