It'd be cool if you get some of the aluminum heat shielding and place it near the exhaust opening on the car. Functionality and appearance.

Ok, personally, I would have done stud mounts if I knew I was going to have the VC issues I ran into...but whatever. I bought a set of used 1.7 Cobra's, they did not clear the GT valve covers. The rockers also weren't in the best shape, so I decided to just go with new FRPP 1.6's(don't ask...

My dad was the same way. After awhile he stopped complaining and started helping me out, lol. Especially after I got involved with the engine swap...what a pain in the ass, lol. Keep at it and have fun with your stang while you can!

With your setup, I can't think of any reason not to go with an RPM2 or the nearly identical but lesser flowing Holley Systemax. A 331 should give you plenty of low end torque.

Here are both of my dyno sheets. SAE & STD(haha)... Yes, it pulls HARD way past 6k RPM now that it's got a bigger TB. Not much pull under 3.5k, but over 4k it hauls ass.

Fluidyne here. I got it for $310 shipped to my door. Direct fit and dropped my crusing temps by nearly 40 degrees. I can cruise down the highway at 160 degrees without my fan on.

If you've got that much power, try doing a burnout in 2nd gear instead of first. That works well if you're not great at powerbraking.
