it ended up not being a roller. and it had about 200,000 miles of unchanged oil build up in it.

Been a bit since I've updated anyone. Went to install the B&M Shift kit last weekend and found out I had a broken 1-2 Accumulator spring and was also missing a check ball in the valve body. Spent quite a bit of time trying to source out replacement parts so that I didnt have to get a whole new...

got the car back buttoned up, runs like a champ. going to get started on installing the shift kit and changing out the trans filter and it will be back on the road. Also found a local 351w out of a 1991 Ford F350 Rail Truck, its not a roller but I think I'll just do a conversion. It is pretty...

I may just stick with the AOD and rebuild it. I am not really sure which way I want to go with the fuel system. I REALLY want to go to carb as it is cheaper and alot easier to tune. But the driveability of having it still fuel injected would be nice. I know there are EFI setups now that are self...

Recieved a phone call from my buddy yesterday. He got ahold of someone that has a Roller 351 out of a F250 that is practically brand new, for about the same price of the one I found. More than likely going ot pick it up this weekend.

    Might've found a 351w for a great deal. Out of a 95 E150 so it's definitely a roller.

Found out I had a headgasket leak, decided to replace all the other upper seals/gaskets while I was at it. Only picture I have from last weekends work.

Does any body know anyone who has a bare 351w with main caps laying around they are trying to get rid of?

I am actually looking for a non-EFI setup if I go the 351 route. It will be alot less aggrivating having a carb then wiring up the computer. I'm not too savy on wiring.

Stock pulley's chris! Lol Jeff you can come get it if you want, if you want to do that drive. Going to pull the valve body off for a good cleaning and install the B&M Shift kit sometime this week. Havent been driving it much. Also having a hard time sourcing a 351. This city is very Mustang...

Lol, I just need to source out a core 351w now. I really want to get a roller block from a 94-newer truck, but if it is easier for me to get a tappet and just convert it over to a roller then so be it. I dont even need a complete block I just want to get a bare block for under $300 lol.

Been browsing around for an idea of what route I'd like to go for the engine build. Been eyeing a 351w block posted on craigslist here. Besides the fact that it is practically drop in and go, it seems that it may be the better route to go. You can never go wrong with extra displacement. A...

Alright had a little time to mess with it today. Got the timing set up to 13-deg, was going to change out the fuel filter and noticed that it has already been replaced. Now I still have the "clunking" issue while coasting or coming to a stop. I checked the driveshaft and there is no play in...

It charges just fine. just don't like how all the lights and stuff dim when I come to a stop or just idling. Got that speaker cover earlier this week. thanks again!

That was one of the first things I checked was the grounds. Still having the issue. Not sure if the internal regulator is bad or not. It has wiring for a sound system, might've affected it previously.

Just realized today I might already have a 3G alternator in it. The bracket has already been notched, and there is an aftermarket 4-gauge wire coming from it. It might just need to be replaced which is why it is always running on the lower normal. It likes to fluctuate, it will be a mid-gauge...
