    My trans is on its way out :nonono: I have another t-5 i can get and rebuild it? i can take all the time i need. but i dont want to just rebuild it to stock, do they make any kits to make it stonger to hold more POWER :p Is this something that my dad and i can do on our own? :flag:

    Yeah it is looking like i am gona park the stang for a few 3 years:( is it possible for me to lose 5 gear only? or will the entire tranny take a dump at the same time?

    I have been having this problem for a few months or so. When i shift into 5th i will some times come out of gear :notnice: It is the stock t-5 with almost 170,000 miles on it :shrug: it has never been rebuilt, and the clucth is on its way out. So what so i do? wait for 5th to give up? and...

    I run a set of Hoosier Quick Time Pro 26x9.5x15 on a set of black turbines, no rubbing, they didn't really help too much at the track (driver error :bang: )

    yes that was my p/s pump. It was like my redneck supercharger (worth -15hp) :D i finnaly put the new pump on and it sounds great, very quiet, only took and hour to install :nice:

    i have hoosier 26x9.5 on turbines, i also have cobra r 17x9 wheels, and the slicks are and inch taller and actually skinnier, i dont know if you are going to be able to get 17" slicks good luck!

    you should have a good run with 3.73's and slicks, when i got slicks and 3.73's i only droped 1 tenth in the 1/8 mile :shrug: but i also suck :bang:
