It's a great looking car, but it's lost more than a little of it's Mustang uniqueness and identity (except for the rear end). I wish they had styled the rear quarter window/pillar to look like the '69-70 fastbacks, but this I know would have compromised visibility and made the quarter windows...

I agree about the rear quarter windows. In fact, look at a 2002 Hyundai Tiburon coupe. From the side, the cars are near-twins.

Rear quarter window inserts to replicate 67-68 Shelby scoops (body color). The rear quarter window shape is the biggest disappointment to me-looks like so many other cars. This would immediately make the car look more like a Mustang.

Looks like a generic coupe (though a very good-looking one). First time a Mustang has looked like everything else on the market-very disappointing. Also, it looks like a two-seater. Someone else compared it to a 370Z, which IS a two-seater. There must be zero rear-head room. But it's still going...

It looks like a Fusion front end to me, complete with Aston Martin-inspired grille shape that is the new corporate look for Ford. It appears the Mustang is losing it's unique identity to fit in with the lineup and be sold overseas as well as in America.
