We replaced the starter/solenoid but it still won't go. When I turn the key, it goes *click* and then I lose all power for a few seconds and then it comes back on.

The exhaust & control arm are in the way. there doesn't seem to be enough room for the bendix cone to clear. it like it will ~almost~ allow it to drop out, but we can't get hat last little bit. Is there something i'm missing? We can't find a video on youtube about how to remove it. futhermore...
