PCM was bad. I got one from a wrecking yard and all plugs are firing now, but it still wont start. The theft light just flashes. My local ford dealer says they can't flash it since it came from a wrecking yard. Is there an easy way to bypass the coded keys?

I went through the same thing on my 02. There are no sensors on the front anywhere. It is all in the box on the trans tunnel

My 02 v6 is just firing on #2 and #6. I've replaced coil pack, wires, plugs, and crank position sensor. Ohm'd out wires from cps to pcm and wires from pcm to coils. Is there a way to check the signal from pcm to coil pack? If pcm is bad do I have to have it replaced at a ford dealer?
