That's the ticket. Lightly wire brush it, sand it with 400-600 grit sandpaper. I applied a rust inhibitor/killer and repainted with semi - flat paint. Looks great.

I have a 99 conv. The rpm's instead of falling between gears stays high but will eventually fall. They will also stay high, in the 1300 to 1500 range, when pulling up to a stop. It will fall to idle but only after 10-15 seconds. Any ideas on what would cause this and where to look?
