    Front control arm bushing replacement

Poly bushings can be put into the empty shells easily with a C-clamp. I used my shop press but it wasn’t really necessary, just more convenient. Just be sure to lube them up good with the supplied grease before installing.

Does Anyone Have A Picture Of The Magnaflow 59956 Cats Welded In On Their Off Road H-pipe?

I realize this is a super old thread, but I was searching for the same answer and since it wasn't really answered definitively I thought I'd add more info for the next person that's searching and stumbles across it. I went ahead and ordered the Magnaflow 59956's and measured them with calipers...

Once and For All.....Door to Body Weather Stripping Shootout

I found this thread because I was trying to figure out why my new door weatherstripping would not seal. Gaps all around the top, especially in the bend at the top rear corner of the window and the bend at the mirror. I first bought LMR replacements but found that the part that clips over the...

    Front control arm bushing replacement

This is meant for those who want to remove the rubber bushings from the stock metal shells and replace them with polyurethane bushings made to fit inside the shells. If you want to replace the entire bushing, from what I've read through my extensive research, unless you have the proper...

    Fuel Fuel Line Repair?

Now that I total up the cost of fittings and fuel line I guess I'll just pull the fuel lines from my donor car. May be a bit more work but it's free. Thanks again for the info.

    Fuel Fuel Line Repair?

It certainly is unfortunate. The least he could have done was left me with a little more tubing to work with. Thanks for the tip on the Russell fittings. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think if I go that route I can leave the stock lower connectors by the flexible segments on my '90 and not...

    Fuel Fuel Line Repair?

The guy that owned my '88 before me pulled the motor and in the process he cut the fuel lines right where they go into the passenger side front wheel well (actually it looks like he just bent them back and forth until they broke). Is there some way I can splice the lines from the engine bay of...

    Drivetrain Chipped 3rd Gear

Please delete. Was asking about replacing the 3rd gear but it's obvious I need to.

Electrical Questions On Putting '90 5.0 Into '88 5.0 Car

Yeah, good point. Then I just need to bring the computer over from the '90, right? Forgive me if I seem a bit dense on this. I love mechanical work but electrical just isn't my forte.

Electrical Questions On Putting '90 5.0 Into '88 5.0 Car

There is no computer in the '88 so I'll be using the '90 computer. I also want it to be mass air. Would it not be better to go ahead and run that wiring before putting the engine in?

Electrical Questions On Putting '90 5.0 Into '88 5.0 Car

Reading through this writeup I notice in #4 under mass air and engine harness he says that the 90 harness won't work in other years because of the different wiring of two 8-pin connectors by the brake booster. Is this right? Can those connectors be rewired to work? I know there are also the...

Electrical Questions On Putting '90 5.0 Into '88 5.0 Car

Pretty sure I can't just drop that '90 motor and computer in there and just plug everything in but I'd be glad if you could tell me I was wrong about that. Would save a lot of headache.

Electrical Questions On Putting '90 5.0 Into '88 5.0 Car

Ok, so I've been reading up a lot lately on the differences between wiring harnesses between years and there is almost too much info out there. I'm told this is a very easy thing to do compared to a 2.3 to 5.0 swap so I'm hoping there are some quick and easy answers out there. I know most...

Hey everyone. Been lurking around the forums for a few months now gathering some info, great site! I see there are a lot of knowledgeable folks on here. I've been wanting an 87-93 Mustang ever since they first caught my eye back in the early 90's. Specifically, I've always loved the look of...
