    Hi guys it looks like I found the culprit, or at least a major reason why. A badly corroded fuel pump and rust in my gas tank was what I found today.     Thanks a lot jrichker. That's much clearer I will try unplugging the spout connector, to try the starting fluid again. and follow the next steps. I will report back any issuses or progress. Thanks again for the help because I was stumped
