    Disc Brakes I have several 71-73 Mustangs. 302 cars have 4 wheel Drum Brakes and 8" rears, unless upgraded. Every 351C car I have has Disc brakes up front and 9" rears. I have to agree with the assumption that is NOT a sprint, I have a 72 Sprint Fastback 351C auto with "B" Option Package.

    I know that "CLUNK" you hear, it's in my 2004 GT as well and I first heard it with less than 1000 miles on it. The car has to be rolling, say 5 mph or so, with clutch in, just move normally from first to second and back to first, thud thud everytime, that you can feel, not just hear.

    I Autocross My 72 Stang. I got their complete setup, but only have 4 1/2 leaf rears, and I love it, corners as good if not better than my brand new 2004 GT. It was an easy install on my car. If I could unbolt it I replaced it. Brakes are next.
