Just installed TFS Kit. now surging problem??

I'm willing to bet it is your timing. You NEED a gun to set your timing. If you can't get it set because the range is too limited on the dizzy than you have the dizzy off by at least a tooth. End of story Get that squared away first. Send back that chip and get the car properly tuned on a...

I have the 94-98 rear in my car. I have Bullitt springs which just barely drop the ride heightfrom stock. I do not have rubbing issues with my 17X8 rims and 245 width tires and did not need to roll my fenders.

does anyone know how you burp a cooling system?

Do that on an uphill grade and you will be even beter off. I learned that little trick after having air pocket issues. The upper hose at the thermostat housing and the EGR cooling tubes are the highest points in the cooling system. You need to get the filler neck of the radiator to be the higest...

I know a few of you Fox guys are looking at doing this conversion in the future so I thought I would post my experience. As some of you know, last winter I did the SN95 4 wheel disc brake conversion on my 89 GT. I had left the brake booster install for another time. Some people claimed that...

Any tricks for upper strut bolts?

Yup, load on the suspension helps a lot. I have also resorted to using a set of vice grips on the shaft from the bottom of the wheel well. As I recall, I just squeezed the dust shield into the shaft and was able to keep it from spinning without marking up the shaft at all.

    anyone running a 4 cylt5 behind a 5.0??

It will live for a while. Normal driving won't kill it, beating it will. I have used 4 cylinder T5's in the past. They will get you by but you sure do want to swap for a World Class or better in the future.

    Question About Cobra Brake Upgrades.

Does the IRS assembly have the caliper mounting and anti-moan brackets installed still? If so, grab some new pads and rotors. That would be all you need. The Cobra brakes use a bracket that positions it higher to clear the larger diameter rotor. The pads are thinner to accomidate the thicker...

Brake Gurus come in...swaped calipers, rotors, rear cyliders, Hard High Pegal????????

:nice: What MC and booster did you use? You might be able to get by with SN95 MC and booster with a adjustable proportioning valve, but I HIGHLY doubt that will work. You really need to do rear disc conversion and add the SN95 components to do it right (along with the adjustable...

Yup, you have to go SN95 to use those rims, but the results are better braking and a much more broad range of wheel choices.

how to tear down and rebuild a trac loc!

when you add the extra clutches you won't have the ears shear off again. It spreads that load over more surfaces and they wear a lot longer. How do the faces of the spiders look?
