I'd put money on the thermostat housing leaking. I've had the thermostat slip while I tighten down the housing only to realize it after I see the leak. Check that out.

Yup, load on the suspension helps a lot. I have also resorted to using a set of vice grips on the shaft from the bottom of the wheel well. As I recall, I just squeezed the dust shield into the shaft and was able to keep it from spinning without marking up the shaft at all.

Unless he installed larger valves in those TW heads, you should not need to flycut. Check it anyway. I installed the Street Heat kit and LOVE it!

You should always degree any cam. I checked mine and found it to right on spec at straight up. Love my kit!

Yup, you have to go SN95 to use those rims, but the results are better braking and a much more broad range of wheel choices.
