    Well, he said 5spd auto, not 6spd, and it also said tranny used in superduty, which is the 5R110. I have no idea about the ZF tranny or how big it is, but I am telling you the the trans tunnel on the mustang is very small, the 5R55S barely fits and it is pretty small.

    There is nothing wrong with your car, you just need to get an EEC tuner or a chip and have the temp the fan comes on adjusted. I have an EEC tuner and my fan comes on at 190, on the factory gauge my car never gets past the "N" in normal.

    I work at a ford dealer, I work on transmissions for a living. I am well aware of the type of clutch the mustang uses, it is not hydraulic. Every manual trans mustangs since atleast 1979 has used a cable operated clutch. :nice:
