    s/c

I purchased my blower kit 4 years ago and at the time the people at KB would not sell direct. A couple of buddys of mine had their KB blowers rebuilt (1.7L kit) for an additional $1500 due to leaks. The newer 2.1L kits seem to put out some decent numbers with room to grow. I'm convinced...

    s/c

The overall price depends on where you buy the kit. I wanted a KB but they would not sell me one unless the authorized dealer installs it for an additional $1500 minimum. Plus some of the upgrades for the KB made me look elsewhere. I personally like the Tork Tech Kit since I'm a big fan of...

    I'm stuck guys,,,2010 427R or 2011 GT

Get the 5L and don't look back. Unfortunately, when people see the new style Mustang the first thing they look at is the side sticker....This is what I'm hearing everywhere I go "Is that a 5L, no...ahh too bad, ya should have waited a year for the new 5L." Roush or not, get the 5L. You can...

CREEKY MAXIMUM MOTORSPORTS EXTREME DUTY CONTROL ARMS PISSING ME OFF!

I hate that damm squeaking noise, so I used a thick grease on mine and the squeaks have stopped...allot of thick ugly grease including the outside of the control arms where the control arms slide in. Also my MM LCA's raised the rear end of my car which I'm not too happy with.

    Anyone have a PSR K-Member??

I've done some searching regarding K-members but there are now some new products on the market like Steeda and PSR. These look like decent k-members but I'm more interested in real world results like everyday driving. Before anyone tells me to by a Griggs or MM k-member I'm more curious as to...

How to get better 60' ?

Unfortunately, what you will find about these cars (mine included) is you probably have brake bind. Jack up your car and see if the wheels can spin freely. Both my front and rear brakes after time started to bind, so I upgraded to the Cobra kit. Brake bid will slow your car down, in my case 2...

    Any one install Allen Supercharger?

Hey...I've got one of those 9psi Allen kits on my 2000GT. Runs damm good too!! There are excellent install instructions on their website. What are you having trouble with?? I'll start with your listed items... The inlet tube bolted right on but I replaced mine with a JLT CAI. The...

    The Cat finally has claws!!!

Good to see you got the green beast back together. 13.5 on street tires?? You might be running faster than that. As you know I have the same blower in my Auto GT and it ran 12.58 on street tires (Fuzions) on 9lbs of boost. Is there a track between Sudbury and Toronto?? I'd like to see...

    Viper-spec T56 installed... what gears?

A buddy of mine has a Viper Spec T56 and runs 4.30's with a KB at 14lbs of boost. It's a good choice. However, he needs 5th gear close to the end of the 1/4 mile. A 28" slick cured that problem.

How do you test coil packs?

I have a 2000GT with a Allen SC running at 9lbs of boost. There is a slight stumble when parked. It's weird cause it happens every 10 seconds. It may just be nothing at all but I was wondering if I could use a multimeter to test the resistance of each coil for consistancy.

How do you test coil packs?

As the title says. I'm thinking of aftermarket coil packs now that Accel makes them. But I'm wondering if I need them. My car is now SC'd and tuned but I've seen the new Granatelli Coil Packs add 9rwhp on a friends ride and smooth out the idle. Any advice?

    low compression

Is there a way to test coil packs? Maybe with something like a multimeter. If so what should they read? I've considered upgrading my coil packs since going SC'd for a smoother idle. I feel I have a miss somewhere.

    Kenne Bell, FTW.. Decisive Victory

The bugs were minimal. I upgraded the injectors, MAF, HE, and added a JLT CAI. Luckily I sold all the old/ original AED parts for some good money so the upgrades didn't cost too much. I installed it in my garage with my brother, turned the key and it started first turn. My car is a 2000GT...

    anyone here have B springs?

I don't know anything about H&R's but I heard they are good. The B spring was originally designed for the fox body Mustang. Straight line performance is good but it certainly wasn't designed for handling.

    Kenne Bell, FTW.. Decisive Victory

I got the Gords Ford HE directly from Gord at www.gordsford.com . He makes brackets especially for a GT for a extra $25.00. It fit perfectly and cools my Allen blower really well. Look on his website for pictures comparing it to other HE's. A SCT MAF is perfect for whoever was asking...

    anyone here have B springs?

I have them and the drop is the same as the Bullitt Mustang with a softer ride up front. Mine wee made b y Eibach built to Ford's specs.

    Kenne Bell, FTW.. Decisive Victory

Check a couple of things with this kit before you buy it. If it comes with 36lb injectors, get the Lightning 42's. If your going with a complete rebuilt motor and want more boost, get the SCT 90mm MAF. Forget the KB Heat Exchanger because its a complete joke, look into a Gord's HE. See if...

    Automatics ?4R70?

Mines holding up well with over 380rwtq at the wheels. I did the J-Mod 2 years ago and combined with a good tune it shifts much better. It's also known to be quite stronger than the 5 speed Mustang trannys.

Shift kit or programer to tighten up shifts???

The J-mod and SCT are the same person. His name is Jerry Wroboski (Sp) and he is the founder of SCT. The man knows his stuff. For others, the J-Mod is by far the best way to go since you are simply allowing more fluid circulating through the stock components. It's a very simple mod and the...

    Ford Racing "B" springs

The drop with B springs are: 7/8" front and 1/2" rear, this is on a Fox Body. With a 99-04 car they are: 1 1/8" front and 3/4" rear. The C springs have they exact same drop but offer and much stiffer front spring and will ride more harsh. The Ford F springs are: 1 1/2" front and 1 1/2" rear...
