Not a problem. The system is a little loud because the mufflers are located under the backseat but I am very happy with it.

Your first problem sounds like an exhaust leak. I would go through and tighten all of your exhaust manifolds and if that doesn't help go under the car and tighten the nuts at the y. They are known to come loose.

If you look sometimes the connection at the y under the car the nuts will get loose from the constant hearing and cooling and that may be the source of your leak. That's what is was on my car.

It's really just easier to buy an aftermarket sound system because once they changed the radio set up everything changed from the console to the position of the fog light/rear defrost switches. It is alot of trouble and I would just advise getting an aftermarket unit.
