The number on the tire is more often than not the MAXIMUM inflatable psi. I think the stockers say max of 44psi. That is too much pressure for a cold tire on a mustang.

nhra and ihra require a helmet for most classes running 13.99 or quicker. The helmet rule is just applied to everyone to avoid confusion. Best to check at the track you plan on running if it's required.

What! It's always a good idea to wear a helmet. I've never been to a track that has let anyone run without a helmet. And that mid 15's stock auto vert. I called BS over on 3.8 and I'm calling BS here to. Back it up and post a slip.

13.8-13.9 @ 101mph for a good driver. I've seen tons of low dyno's for these cars. Something just doesn't click for the car. For the power it should be putting out it should do 13.5-13.6. but for some reason it doesn't :shrug:

If it is underated just a tiny bit (5-10hp) and weighs what we think it will I calculated the mtx gt to be capable of 13.4@103mph. It crosses the quarter in 3rd gear at around 6000rpm. I'm estimating this off of a 99 cobra dyno with a modified power curve to match expectations of the vvt...
