    XM?? Mach 460?? HELP!!

I just bought a Roady today (and watched my Steeda shifter slide further into the future) and am wondering where to mount it. Not so sure about sticking the antenna outside either. Going to try a rear speaker grille in the morning.

No such animal as a SOHC 4V that I know of. Would take a whole lotta lobes to drive 4 valves off 1 cam.

Let me get back to you on handling. I traded the 2001 GT for the Cobra a week ago tuesday. What a night a day difference the IRS makes.

Kenny Brown Aluminum IRS bushings arrived!!!

I'd like to know the results too. I have to wonder if ZERO compliance is a good idea. Poly at least has a little.

Well, the stang does have its faults (the chassis dates to 1979 after all) but where else can you get a 300+ horsepower, rear-drive coupe with the same value-per-dollar?

CD subscriber, eh? Guess you don't hate them for hating the Mustang? I usually agree with them but we differ on the old pony.

Just completed the IRS to solid axle swap

It's so ironic that I drove the GT for two years wishing I had an IRS but could find no one to swap. Now this forum seems overrun with them. Well, I did find a few over the two years but usually too far away and/or too much money.

    GT or MACH 1

Four cams rule! So does IRS if you're a corner carving freak but then you'd have to consider a Cobra.

I was going full throttle and shifted to 2nd, instead of 4th, questions inside.

I did that with my '01 GT when I'd only had it a few months. Locked the wheels and zinged the motor. I was terrified I'd ruined her. I ordered my TriAk the next day. Fortunately nothing was damaged. I put about 40K more miles on before trading last Tuesday.

    I'm one of you now.

They're new. Probably put on by the dealership where I bought it. Some off-brand I've never heard of call VISA. Cheap & cheesey tires were also on my list of possibilities but I only felt this in the shifter rather than the whole car. Probably need to change the tranny fluid soon.

    I'm one of you now.

Gears are definitely in my future now. Didn't think I really needed them with the GT but now I'm thinking 4:10's. Gonna get an alum. driveshaft too, and go all poly in the suspension...and on and on... I had a TriAx but couldn't find my stock to swap back in to the GT so it went bye-bye...

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=442111 One more question to ask. Took it up to triple digits on the way home last night. Very noticible driveline vibration over 100. Any ideas what it could be?

How many 99+ stangs here have over 50K miles-->>

57,900 here. Had the spotty headlights and a loose tranny crossmember fixed under warranty. Had one coil pack fail around 40K and replaced it myself. Had the tranny mount replaced under warranty when the mechanic declared it "weak" during a 20K inspection. I currently have a little looseness...

As I understand it they replace the foam too changing the design of the seat entirely. Only your frame is reused. I just found out you can by new 2004 Cobra seats if you want: http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=6732 $2250 each!

Well, now I'm starting to lean back to the FR500 setup. If I get leather I'm looking at $700-$1000 per seat plus brackets. Wife says fabric fronts with leather rear would "look tacky". The FR500 is $1495 and covers front AND rear in matching leather while keeping my power adjustments (I'm...

Arrugh! The guy called back and said Corbeau only offers leather in black. I need gray. I guess I could live with cloth but the real hitch is they claim the seat won't bolt to my factory track allowing me to keep my power adjustment.
