    71-73 gauge pod

Bump. I still have the 3 autometer gauges in the factory center gauge pod. I'd like to add an air/fuel and possibly a trans temp gauge. I'm about to put a stereo system in so I don't want to use the head unit area for guages. Anybody experimented with either an a-pillar or possibly dash pad...

    '73 351c 2v intake manifold question

Guys, Sorry for the dumb question but I can not seem to find this. Is there's a part # for a '73 351c 2v intake gasket without the valley pan? That is, basically a gasket without the valley pan? I'm tired of messing with these dumb valley pans. As an option I know you can cut the belly...

351c engine build update in my 73 mach

I've always heard good things about blue thunder intakes. If I can not be too cheap and get one that'd be great too, haha. Judging by people's reaction I might be better off saving for one. Got a quick vid of my car idling as well. YouTube - my 73 mach 1 idling after finishing a rebuild

351c engine build update in my 73 mach

Yup, they're Sandersons. Nah it's an xcellator. D.Hearne what intake would you recommend? I'm debating between a holley strip dominator or a torker. I'm just not convinced the weiand is cutting it since I switched to this much bigger cam.

351c engine build update in my 73 mach

Not my first choice in headers (good deal) but they work for now. Surprisingly they weren't an issue with the engine going in. With the exhaust bolted on there's quite a bit of room. If they dont work well i'll swap them out for some long tubes.

351c engine build update in my 73 mach

Well after months of sorting a bunch of random things out I'm about ready to get some dyno numbers out of my engine. Some pics and basic info. 351c, aussie 2v heads, kb pistons, lunati cam, .550/.560 lift 237/247 @ 110, bg mighty demon carb, shorty headers, msd ignition. trans is a built c4...

    Flowmaster vs Magnaflow mufflers

I have a 2.5" setup, x-pipe and 40s on my built 351c and it is insane. I dont know how my neighbors stand it and my gf can hear me coming home .25 mile off. When it was closer to stock it sounded decent. Now it's too much. So I'll second the "whole meaner than it is" idea with 40s. I'll be...

    1971-1973 mustang builds

On that note I have a 73 oem rear swaybar if you're interested v8roadwarrior. I'm in the process of fixing some bugs on my 73. Rebuilt the engine with a big solid cam and swapped in a c4 along with a different rear subframe :) so I've been busy :D Hopefully a couple more weeks and she'll be good.

Thoughts on the new CPP front suspension?

Ugh, no love for the 71-73 when it comes to suspension stuff is what I'm finding out. TCP is all I've had luck with a good coilover type setup with.

    351C Max overbore

.040 is fine, my block is .060. Not really ideal but it works. We did initially having some overheating problems, but my cooling mods that fixed them are pretty basic. Stock radiator, flex fan, big oil cooler mounted in the grill opening, and water wetter. Keeps about 195-200 idling in the heat...

    rear bumper question

My rear bumper currently looks like this. I'm a bit confused on my options on how to cover up the holes in my bumper. I found this rear bumper "pad kit" for 73 bumpers shown below but I'm not sure if it's the correct part...

help w/ p/s lines going into p/s box

The old lines were burnt in a fire so I didn't have access to them. I was switching over to braided lines for both lines to clean things up a bit. There's a local place that makes nice braided lines for pretty cheap. They don't sell power steering fittings however. 11/16 was it, looks like...

help w/ p/s lines going into p/s box

I had to replace the power steering box in my 73 mach. I replaced it with a rebuilt unit from another 73. The low pressure line (outlet) I have on. The high pressure (inlet) line gave me a small problem. Long story short I had to get a new lines made for both sides. I bought (2) 5/8 -18 p/s...
