    Redfire stripes for Torch Red?

    You do not want a metallic stripe on a non metallic body or the reverse, whatever the color combo you chose. Sounds like you are looking for a ghost stripe. In that case either lighten or darken the orignal Torch Red to your liking for that look to be correct.

    Practicality Issues

    Although its not the best idea it should be just fine. For a year and a half back in 84 to 86, I used my 84 GT to hual around myself, wife, grandma and our three small children. That was before they forced the carseat issue.
