Well, after 3 trips to the track I found my problem. Had a crack in my mass air housing. Went to the track for the 4th time with this car, ran once with the cracked mass air and ran a 14.02 and 100. My buddy got me a 99 gt mass air which was a lot different than mine?? Not sure if that is gona...

Anyone know what other ford cars have the same mass air housing as on my 02 gt. mine cracked, just need a new housing.

Apparantly I over tightened my MAF and now there is a crack running straight in front of one of the screws. Damn Plastic pieces of crap. It was fine for like 2 weeks until this morning when i hear this awful screeching noise. I know its basically my fault for over tightening it, but...

is my accufab 75mm throttle body hurting me more than it is helping me. i have heard from others that it takes too much low end, which it does feel like to me. but i can defiently feel it in the top end that it helps(either that or the plenum) should i put the stock TB back on?

i've been using synthetic oil for about 9,000 miles, would it be bad to switch back to regular oil? Are there any real benefits from using synthetic ? thanks

anyone know the dip switch configuration for 4.10s and 18 in wheels? shoulf it be the same as with the 17s. i lost the little sheet with all the configurations. im not sure the tire size but i think they are 285 40 17

does anyone know if the steeda tri-ax handle holes are the same size as the hurst short thow shifter...the handle it comes with is the same as stock, and the UPR handle's holes were too small, the bolt that fits the shifter is too big for the handles. thanks

I did, i love it, but for some reason it feels a bit more restrictive. which might actually be good cuase it felt like i got a little torque back in the low rpms but it actually feels to like it pulls harder from 4500 and up. i dont know just late, and im bored. anyone with the same results?

I just wanted to know if cruising at 2300-2700 RPMS, due to 4.10s, has put too much strain on the transmission? WIll is wear out quicker than with the stock gears? Is the 3650 strong enough to take everyday driving 50 or 60 miles a day between 2000 and 3000 rpms?

i think its time for a tune up. what all do i need? the car has 23,000 miles i've put 10,000 since i got it and i have no clue when the last tune up was.

I have been thinking about getting one. Ever since i got the 4.10s installed it feels like there is alot of friction in getting the wheels to move from a stop. Will the aluminum driveshaft help with this? once the car is going though from a roll the feeling of friction usually is gone...

I have an 02 Gt and my buddy has an 03 Gt. We measured last night and his car is a 1/2 inch lower in the front, How could this be? he has never done any suspension work. he has more miles than me, but it couldnt sag that much from wear, could it?
