    I didn't want a loud obnoxious setup, so I have a magnaflow catted X pipe with a FR500 catback. I like the combo. Little louder than stock at idle, opens up at WOT. I think the FR500 & the steeda catbacks are among the quietest one out there.

    Only "run in" I've had with them was back in the spring at a dyno day. I was there first with a new GTO there next. He was a bit suprised when I got a bone stock dyno of 372 rwhp. He said he was hoping for around 350. I asked what pontiac says the car has, he said 350. I didn't bother explaining...

    Damn, I pay 2700 a year for full coverage on 4 vehicles. 2004 Cobra 2004 Ford F150 1998 taurus 1995 E150 And I don't have a clean record either, thanks to the cobra, lol.

    If your warranty is important to you I would just stick to the little "safe" mods like a catback (or axle back in your case) exhaust & a intake of some type. Sticky tires too, that's my next mod for my '04.

    Over on svtperformance.com there is a guy with the username of fordsvtparts. He works at a dealership parts dept. & will sell any ford part (except ford racing parts) for 10% over cost. Might want to check his price out.

    If a catback & intake don't get you there, adding a X/H pipe will, IMO. That's all I have done to mine & the midpipe is a catted X. Numbers are in my sig.

    I have the #'s in my sig from a FIPK, catted X pipe & catback. So with a tune you should get even more I'd think. I'll guess around 420 rwhp & 390 rwtq.
