    I saw mention of Stoptech. If the brakes are Stoptech, you can get the Saleen calipers and order SN95 caliper brackets from Stoptech.

    Sal, I don't know the specifics of the tranny mount in a 96-98 GT swap. In Cobras, the tranny crossmember brackets are bolted to the chassis, so I have moved them where necessary. You may try to get those from Ford. The entire clutch will work unless you get a Viper T56.

    $550 is a great deal. If you were to buy a set of Alcon B types, you'd spend about $6-800 each caliper. That is without brackets, lines or rotors.

    Camber plates don't just allow more adjustment than stock, they are a better strut mount than stock.

    '05 GT pistons and rods.

    They are the same type of rods that all mod motors have had with the exception of the 2003-04 Cobra. They are not as strong as forged rods.

    The front suspenison of the Mustang is actually a regurgitated Mazda 6, which is a copy of the BMW M3.

    Roush Corvette Poll... :(

    The A4 is the same price as a Mach 1 and handles and rides much better. With a chip, exhaust, and tuning, it is just as fast. Plus your friends can ride without their knees in the chin. The Mustang had enough of a lead by the time I looked, so I helped out a good car in the lower end battle.

    Why was it such a big deal? It's not like they made up a whole new car like the S7. It's just some body and engine work.

    If it fits in the block, it's not too big. Yeah, it doesn't quite make sense to have a secondary accel pump on a vacuum secondary carb.

    If you are making a concours restoration, then a C code would be worth less. Most people are into restomod type cars, so it isn't that big of a factor. When I bought my 66 fastback, I wasn't concerned with which engine came in it because I was changing everything. It happened to be an A code...

    C code is the 2 bbl 289, A code is the standard 4 bbl 289. K code is of course th hi po 289.

    And I still say that if they do work so great, they will make the back end of the car try to pass the front under heavy braking.

    With 13.5" Wilwood fronts the Baer 11.5" rear are wonderfully adequate. Slowing from 150 to make the 50 mph turn 3 at Fontana, there were no signs of being underbraked. In fact, 13" rear rotors probably would have made the car tail happy.
