    new Challenger

I tend to think there is some confusion still remaining out there about the 1999 Charger concept. The particular car was never built to showcase the 2005 Dodge Charger sedan. The problem was that the show car was still on the car show circuit for years afterwards because of its popularity...

    Kind of a Crazy ??'s

It requires premium gas but with premium usually running only about .20 more per gallon over regular and the Mustang fuel capacity being 15.6 gallons, you're truly not looking at that much difference. You're only looking at about $3.00 more per fill-up. The insurance could be a bit higher...

wife wants to trade in the f150!!

2005 Crown Vic LX with the HPP. Safe and surprisingly nimble for its size. Since 2002, they've made considerable advances with rack and pinion steering, better torque convertor, more horsepower and torque, etc. I test drove a 05 awhile back while at the dealership for service and was surprised...

    Headers on my 94 Cobra?

I'd say go with long-tubes and a matching catted H-Pipe. I bought some 1 5/8 BBK long tubes for my old 95 Cobra and had them Jet-Hot coated. Not only did they look good, but I could definitely feel a difference. Plus, the sound is so sweet. I started off with a 2 1/2 Dynomax exhaust on mine...

    are all '94+ cobras SVT?

I can verify that personally. My old 95 was delivered with the badge so the 95 was officially the first Cobra to wear the SVT badge.

    are all '94+ cobras SVT?

As stated, all 93+ Cobras and Lightnings are SVT vehicles and I see no reason for you to be reluctant to put the "SVT" badge on. Its not like you're putting a SVT badge on a GT. Find a pic of the 95 Cobra rear which is almost exactly identical to your car, although it does have the SVT badge...

    '95 Cobra.......have some ?

That's a lot of miles for sure. Maybe you could post the VIN and somebody can do some more research on it. The location of the car could have an impact on the price. What part of the country is this car located?

    new car on the block?

I haven't dealt with any myself but there was a Mach guy over on SVTperformance that went with one from a highway speed roll well over a 100 and he said he only beat him by a car length or so. The R/Ts are supposed to be around high 13s-low 14s quarter mile. The Charger SRT-8 with the 6.1L may...

    Production Shelby gt500 pics

Oh, man I think its so funny that guys driving GPs say the new Shelby GT-500 is ugly. Anyway, I do agree that the hood does ruin the look of the car. I'm also still not for sure I like the rearend treatment along with the choice of spoiler but overall its a nice-looking car.

    Mystic Green 99 Cobra?

missouriguy is correct. The green in 1999 was called Electric Green and was only on Cobras in 1999. FWIW, my favorite green Cobra is the Pacific Green. I loved the color on the coupes and would probably be high on my list if I were shopping for a SN95 Cobra. I really wonder what the mystic...

    List Your Production Series #

I can't remember my # but I do know its fairly late production (Aug. 01), although I did get a fairly early production engine (Jan. 01)...and a Teksid block. With the True Blue/Medium Parchment, mine is just 1 of 87 coupes made and True Blue was only produced on the Cobra in 2001 so its a...

    GTO,CHARGER quicker the the STANG

Its funny on different perspectives. I might would have had that same notion 15 years ago, too. :D Coupes get mighty small the older you get, especially with a kid or two.

    Radar Detectors

I can't speak for the Passport vs. V1 frontal sensitivity other than to say that most independent tests show them on equal plain or the V1 being better. It can be safely said that the V1 has much better rearward sensitivity just because of the rear facing antenna. That makes the V1 like having...

    GTO,CHARGER quicker the the STANG

The Challenger with a 6.1L Hemi has all the earmarkings of being very formidable and keep in mind that CNN/Money is saying that industry analyst are saying 2009 model year. The Charger is already a 2006 model year, so an early release of the Challenger as a 2008 year model could be feasible and...

    Have any of you noticed

I'm not really sure. I sometimes think that some of them choose to alienate themselves from the early DOHC crowd because either they're not in the 'SVT' family or they just feel that their cars are superior in all ways and we are just wrong not accepting it. Then perhaps they feel like...

    2001 Cobra vs. Mach1 ('03 / '04)

Exactly how are the seats better since they're both based on the same basic structure? And the IRS is not always necessarily a liability. I will agree that the Mach is a good performance deal for 03+ but I wouldn't say it was head and shoulders above the 01 Cobras in performance at all. Its...

    2001 Cobra vs. Mach1 ('03 / '04)

IMHO, I tend to think that the Mach is actually more "GT-like". Its got the same front fascia, rear fascia, rocker panels, wing and foglights and of course the same taillights. I'd bet the non-Mustang enthusiast average joe would confuse a 35th anniversary GT with a Mach 1. With the Cobra...

If buying a used Cobra would already installed mods be appealing?

You'll probably find that this is a black/white situation with very little grey. There is probably some that would rather find a car that is bone stock because it represents a car that has been untouched. Others will appreciate the mods as being that much less they have to do. I myself would...
