Hey, look at me! Oh, nevermind. :spot: To keep with the subject of the thread, I wonder how many more non-counting posts I have to get before my title changes :jester:.

    over drive

If you tried the same experiment at lower speeds, you could drive in 3rd and pull the shifter down to 2nd and you'd notice the same thing. It's just the nature of changing gears. O/D is just 4th gear, but it's called O/D for the reasons I stated above.

    over drive

Either you typed it backwards, or you just understood it the wrong way. When overdrive is turned OFF then you are only using 3 gears; first, second, and third. Overdrive is like 4th gear, but it's called overdrive because it's just that, "Over drive." Your 3rd gear (drive) is a 1:1 ratio...

Noooo, this is starting to look like a thread anti-hijacking! Don't get on topic, that'll ruin the whole history behind it :p. If you want to know about Tri-Ax's and the like, take it to Tech ;).

I'm not sure what's going on in here, but I think it might have to do with something about getting into Linz's shirt, or Matt's shirt, I haven't deciphered the code yet . Stay tuned for the next episode when I get a shirt first since I didn't ***** about it (not that I really know wtf is...
