    Anything you can do to an sn95 you can do to a fox and the fox starts out lighter. Unless you are going to buy a newer cobra that has IRS I would use the fox as a platform for a car you want to handle good (yes, you can swap an IRS into a fox body but it would be pretty expensive). Both cars...

    The easiest way to check for un-ported e7's is to feel for the little hump in the exhaust port. You will know the hump when you see it, its along the top.

    302 to 351 swap (302 efi - 351 carb'd or efi?)

    It is not that difficult to go from an efi setup to a carb setup, also long as your suspension is not worn out from high mileage I wouldnt worry about it too much unless its just something that you want to do. And I do not remember exactly how much heavier a 351 is but it is not that much more...

    The 351W has MUCH more potential than a 302. Don't worry about your suspension, replace it down the road as it wears out. Yes you will need good heads to make good power but thats true for any motor. A t5 will work if you baby it but before you put that motor in you may want to start pricing...
