    Fuel Slight jerking ?? HELP

Vacuum gauge - My Torque app (Android, but I am sure iPhone's have something similar) with a BlueTooth OBDII adapter lets me see the vacuum. Not sure it responds as fast as a true vacuum gauge though. It also lets me see the fuel pressure, which "may" be causing this (I lean towards vacuum...

    Fuel Slight jerking ?? HELP

High idle may be from a vacuum leak somewhere. Which can cause it to run lean and cause misfires. Can you hear a hiss under the hood around the engine area? Check all vacuum hoses.

    Fuel Slight jerking ?? HELP

Does the engine run smooth, do you hear any misfire? Maybe try unplugging one coil pack at a time and make sure it the sound changes each time. If one cylinder doesn't change, that one is misfiring. Could be Plug (Which isn't likely since you changed them), coil pack, or fuel injector. Move...

    Help with audio please!

That second pic, the wires may be shorting on the speaker frame. Either tape each wire or put tape on the frame. Have you listened to each speaker to determine where the noise is coming from? I don't know what may have changed between 06 and 09, but the 06 plain stereo has 4 speakers, the...

    Lots of sensor errors

What Bullitt95 said about the alternator is worth checking. And most parts stores will test the alternator in the car too.

    Annoying Sound Coming From Engine?

I agree with 7992LXnSHO. When I swap between the Cats and Off Road H Pipe I get a leak at the header to exhaust pipe every so often and have to re-do or re-tighten that.

Car engine stops working while driving

I agree with Bullitt95. Sounds like your mechanic doesn't really know enough to troubleshoot. B95 is right, spark plugs won't all 8 quit at once. But by now they should be changed. And you probably don't want your current mechanic to do that. Those plugs need to be eased out so they don't...

    What U-Joints... 05 Mustang 4.0

See if you can find a driveshaft shop somewhere near you. They would likely know exactly what you need. I know of driveshaft shops in Nashville TN and Miami FL. Hopefully you can find one near you.

    Catless exhaust..Tune required?

I would not not be notified. I used to use the "Torque" app on my phone and check now and then. Now I have an Android Head Unit and I set Torque to Auto-Start. It runs a dash I set up, but once or twice a week I run a scan (Real easy now). The dash I created shows about all my sensors, so if...

    Catless exhaust..Tune required?

I've run over 150,000 miles without cats and without a tune. CEL light on the whole time. Car has 290,000+ miles on it, no troubles from no cats.

    How do I look?

Crazy about the Fram Oil Filter! Glad it was a cheap easy fix.

    How do I look?

It's hard to see the condition of the cam lobes. If any of the cam followers have pitting or scoring on the rollers they for sure should be replaced. If the cam lobes are smooth, they "should" be okay. I had a cam follower damage a cam lobe and was able to polish the lobe and keep going. I...

Just picked up, 2010 GT. Stiff clutch, hard to shift?

My 06 GT has an easy clutch pedal and I don't have to get all the way to the floor to shift. Way easy to shift than my Fox Body. Something must be off.

    ABS brakes and pad wear

I bought my 2006 Mustang GT new. I consistently go 120,000 miles on the front pads and 80,000 miles on the rear pads. The car has 286,000 miles now. My wife's 2009 Front Wheel Drive Ford Flex eats the rear pads faster than the front as well. Only cars I've had that do that. Has to be abs...

    fuel gauge ?

If I zip around a sharp turn mine will do that for maybe 10 or 15 miles and has since it was new. If it is staying at low most of the time, then it could be a sending unit in the tank or the stepper motor in the gauge.

Info for 05-09 Mustang GT owners who have experienced total power loss (dead stalls) after 1-2 hours of hwy driving

That sounded like vapor lock. Once the pump cooled the vapor locked went away. Glad you got it resolved.

    Brake vibration and grinding

WOW! That shim moved a fair amount, good catch. Wouldn't expect that from Motorcraft. I'd bet they aren't the same as the pads that came on the car even though they say Motorcraft. Glad you got it squared away. I run AutoZone's Duralast MAX (Was C-Max) and mostly highway driving. I get 120k...

    2014 Mustang GT winter tires?

The middle number pretty much determines the sidewall. A 45 would be a lower profile, shorter tire. And only being a 225 it would also be lower. The speedometer will be off, but it should work otherwise. The difference seems to be very slight -...

    Cai problem

On the GTs most CAI require a tune to run properly. Likely to be true with the 4.0 as well. You can purchase a tuner with a tune for the CAI from many vendors mentioned here in the forums.
