    I'm still running the stock alt., with dual electric fans, and it sucks! have to keep it revved up at stoplights, and I don't trust it with the lights on. I'm surprised it's still hanging in there!

    Ditch the pulleys if you use the elec. fans, and don't wire them up without using a relay.

    is this enough for 275 hp.

    I know my car in stock form only made about 175hp to the wheels. Every car is different. Fortunatly I think I'm making a little more now.

    Surging Idle

    Mine does the exact same thing. Once it gets up to temp it seems fine. Iblame it on not having a chip burnt for it yet. What mods do you have?

    will a t5 work???

    It can cost a lot of $$$ to make a c-4 stand up to high horsepower. I would take the weight penalty and go with the c-6. But i'm lazy and I hate pulling transmissions!

    bought another 5.0!!!

    Did the guy actually say it was still a stock cam? I find it hard to believe he had the top end off to replace heads and lifters etc... but didn't add a cam. Did he just forget to mention it?

    You definitly need something with a shroud, the 16" with the shroud would be better than the 18" without it.

    If you have gas on the vacuum side of the regulator, it is shot! The diaphragm is ripped. Send it back and get a new one.

    If it only blows on high then the resistor is more than likely the problem, not the switch. I'm not sure where it is located on the Mustang, but it is usually somewhere it can be cooled. (inside the plenum maybe?) As far as no heat, are you sure there is air blowing across the heater core? Did...
