question on Valve spring/roller rocker install??

You may need shims, its not just zero lash then 20 ft/lbs, you need to count how far the bolt turns to reach 20, should be 1/4 to 1 full turn, more and you need shims, less you need longer pushrods

My baby is on her way out, is stop leak THAT bad?

Just replace the water pump and go from there, its not a major or expensive repair, if you were driving the car with coolant leaking from the water pump it could show up almost anywhere.

    Duraspark Dis. and Hi-6

Its been quite a while since I bought one but I think it was around $50, and as you know 85 is an oddball year for distributors, make certain you get the correct steel cam gear, dont trust that just because it says its for an 85 that its right, Ive seen a bunch with cast iron gears

Comp has the XE270HR with a 112 lobe sep also, I would go with that if you plan to stay NA, I just installed this cam but havent started the engine yet Cam is designed for use with 1.7 rockers also at .544" lift...with 1.6's consider the XE274HR
