    Drag strip: Street tire pressure?

What air pressure do you recommend for street radials at the track? A search of the archives suggests 40f/25r. I've been running 35f/35r (cold).

Valve spring #'s questions (need help bad)

Seems to me that should be fine (no kisses necessary :) ), but I'm no expert by any means. Hopefully someone can offer up a second opinion. Good luck!

Valve spring #'s questions (need help bad)

Start over. Here are the specs in my shop manual for the '94 cobra: Compressed Pressure: Intake: 90#@1.78" 280#@1.30 Exhaust: 85#@1.60 264#@1.12 Free length, Intake 2.017" Free length, Exhaust 1.389" Assembled Height, Intake: 1.800" Assembled Height, Exhaust: 1.620" Now you can...

Is $700 a good price for turbos?

It doesn't look good. :notnice: You really need more information to make a decision. It appears they are T04B26: Part Number 409760 - Search Catalogs in TurboMaster Perhaps from a ~160HP John Deere? Ask for the A/R's; if the A/R is indeed 1.52, you'll have to wait a long time for it to...

    afr 205's on stock 302

I would love to try AFR205's on a 302!. Just think 32V Cobra. The trick will be the cam, as Clement all ready said. One other issue: Does the 205 require special headers and/or intake manifolds?

    Rocker adjustment

Pardon me for being dense, but it sounds like we're talking about two different things: The OP is asking about re-torquing pedestal-mounts after a few miles, if I read that correctly: Whereas some of these posts are alluding to properly setting lifter preload during the initial assembly...

    Rocker adjustment

Wait, Crane 1.7s? Pedestal-mounts, right? If they are pedestal-mounts, just torque them down to spec. I've never heard of that new rockers need to be tightened like 1/4 or 1/2 turn after the engines been running for some miles. Something's not right (maybe my misunderstanding).

    hood pins

Ya lost me. A hoodpin that's not a pin.......?! Maybe a bolt or a Dsuz fastener...? What's wrong with a traditional pin & retainer?

    hood pins

Those things suck: The lock portion is cast out of pot metal and easily fatigues. I suggest you use them only for fishing weights, otherwise stay as far away from them as humanly possible.

    Flat black "murdered" SN95

Does anyone have a picture of a flat black'ed SN95? I'm having a tough time imagining it. The Lorrie episode of Top Gear sparked the thought.

    08 Bullitt...not that impressive

Just out of curiousity, which permutation of the 4.6 is in this 08 Bullitt; is it the 4-valve head and iron block, or blower on a 3-valve head, 2-valve head on an aluminum block, or............? (And does it have the variable cam timing?)

    Big port, small cam?

Has anyone tried big ports with a (relatively) small cam? It works for the DOHC 32v. I'm getting bored with this small-port 5200 RPM stuff. I want some revs. How about AFR205 with a 260*/.550" cam?

    Mill heads for 94-95s?

Thanks, but what I meant was, will the brackets line up after milling the heads?
