WTF ? rust emitting gas bubbles under my bran new paint

The roof skin can be replaced. Try a salvage yard, but before that, ask around at some good body shops or collision repair places. They bring roll overs back to life ALL the time.

    NON-Tech Talk

Not really, although a few non-driving newbs have tried to make it that way. I like it the way it is, with the "TALK" section being there for the folks who like to follow the rules, and the "TECH" section there for......well.....TECH. You can't help but stray away from tech from time to time...

WTF ? rust emitting gas bubbles under my bran new paint

Shiney metal is really the only way to go. Why not buy a new/old top off of a Coupe and weld it on?

Classic car insurance for a daily driver?

I insured with St. Farm. No hassle, no sneaking around hoping I didn't get into a wreck while just cruising around the block. "But wait Mr Agent, I really was going to a car show." Yea right. A sound company for sound piece of mind.

    Hey Pakrat

Bottom line is that the question was Tech related, and is may have been informative if the discussion had gone that way. I've stepped into the moderator role at times, but that was for sheer, unadulterated BS talk. As far as a "click" or what have you, put up some more posts, and you can be a...

    S.O.S. Need HELP Quickly!!!!!!!!!!!

Pak, if the fuel filter is plugged, it may not be totally plugged. I've had them that would stall a car, then if you let it sit for 5 minutes or so, enough fuel would seep past the clog to allow it to run a mile or so more before the problem started up again. But, the ignition sounds partially...

Where do we go from Retro????

The only thing I liked about that style of cars were the Cobra types. They had about a ton of decals on them and I guess they were trying to keep up with the Smoke and the Bandit.

    S.O.S. Need HELP Quickly!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you are on the right track with the fuel filter. If not that, doesn't sound like anything too costly.

How to remove an aftermarket steering wheel?

Another way would be to take the back glass out, put a log chain arond the steering column, and attach the other end to a monster truck and drop the clutch. Sort of GBM style. :D

Copy all you want as long as you don't plan to make a profit on it. No law against that.

    Went to see Reagan today

I saw him 20 years ago when most of you were still in the cradle. I was standing by the highway as his motorcade passed me by and was waving at him. I was alone and about 5 miles out of town. He saw me, and shifted his seating position so he could look at me and waved back. I also have a hand...

Buyer Warning, Ripped off on eBay!

Reminds me of a former stangnet chatter, that was going somewhere to buy some parts and took orders from everyone as to what he could buy for them. The way I remember it, he is gone, the money is gone and nobody got the parts because as he told it, they were buried in a barn after he moved.
