Trunk Light Out, Not The Bulb - Maybe Fuse?

Could be the remote keyless entry module going bad. Do you have your interior dome lights and glove box light? I had a similar problem where I didn't have any of these lights working including the trunk light. Replaced the RKE module and now they work again. The RKE completes a circuit so if it...

    Electrical problems

It had RKE from the factory. The RKE module in the car went bad so I just replaced it with one from a 97. Before and after the RKE replacement: the driver's door lock actuator does not lock or unlock (lock operates fine manually). Passenger's side door lock actuator operates fine. Last fall I...

    Electrical problems

Well, I went to a local mustang yard and got a keyless entry module from a 97. Woohoo!! Now the dome lights are working. Still no driver's door lock actuator. Now I just gotta hunt down some remotes (car didn't come with any and the yard didn't have any). Anyways, any ideas why the actuator...

    Electrical problems

I bought the car like this early last year. I'm not even sure it had the anti-theft and illuminated entry modules but it does have a keyless entry module. I'm pretty sure it's a bad keyless entry module (though I don't know about the cruise control problem). I accidently shorted out something on...

    Removal of stock H-pipe...yikes!!!

The lower nut on the passenger's side manifold stud that attaches the h-pipe to the manifold is a HUGE PITA. You will need to remove the O2 sensor to even get a shot at the nut. It is a very tight space up there. The size of the nut is 18mm. A 3/8's drive shallow socket is too short because of...

    Electrical problems

96 Mustang GT. No dome lights, power door lock actuator not working (no power to it), and cruise control not working. All fuses/bulbs/acutator are good. Could a bad keyless entry module and bad/missing illuminated entry module cause these problems (completing a circuit)? I THINK it used to have...

How do I identify authentic Shelby wheels?

These wheels are 15x7 and are supposed to be off of a 60's Shelby. Possibly a 67 or 68. 10 spoke design. How can I tell if they are real or not? They do have CSI stamped on the back of them. Does that stand for Carroll Shelby International? Anything to look for?

4 speed stuck in 3rd gear

66 fastback with 4 speed manual. It's stuck in 3rd gear. Shifter will not budge. Also the clutch won't engage until the pedal is almost all the way up. What are the problems?

    96 GT Automatic shifting problem

My 96 GT has the automatic and 87,000 miles. Last night it came up with a problem of taking it's sweet time on a 1-2 shift. If it does shift into 2nd gear it will do it very slowly. I can manually shift into second and it'll hold just fine. Get enough rpms and shift to D and we're good to go...

FS: Versailles 9 inch disc brake rear end

Located near Joplin, MO. I've got a 9 inch disc brake big bearing rear end out of a Lincoln Versailles I'm thinking about getting rid of. It's all there but needs rebuilt. I bought it to rebuild and put in my 67 mustang. I'd have to look again but I believe the gear ratio is a 2.79:1 open...
