    79-98 Bumpsteer Kit

Earlier generation Granatelli Motorsports bumpsteer kit for 79-98 Mustangs. This kit has the 5/8 inch bolt that requires the spindle hole to be drilled out. The bolt itself is too long, a screw up on Granatelli's part when the kit first came out. But, as they told me when I bitched about it...

Front Suspension Issue - Clunking and Cupping

That was my first thought when OP mentioned having to turn before the clunking noise showed itself. More than a decade ago I had a similar problem and replacing the front sway bar bushings with urethane bushings fixed the problem. Apparently the old bushing tore and the bar pushed through it...

    Centerline Auto Drag 4 lug

Four stock sized/offset and backspacing 15x7 four lug Centerline Auto Drag wheels. Two center caps are missing. The tread on the tires are negligible...you can take them or leave them. These do polish to a chrome-like finish, although I haven't taken the time recently. The tires are...

Brakes The Ultimate 4-lug/5-lug Brake Conversion/upgrade Thread

Emergency brake I've seen the question asked, but not answered. That doesn't mean it wasn't answered, but I couldn't find it answered anywhere. It pertains to whether the 99+ leather e-brake handle could be used to replace the plastic 87-93 when you do the e-brake mods. The 99+ are easier to...

Brake Upgrade Time - Need Everyones Help

Have you looked at car-part.com? It's a website to hundreds of junk yards across the country. I'm in the process of getting all my parts for the same conversion. I picked up a set of 1998 Cobra front brakes, including the rotors, hubs, spindles, and loaded calipers with stock lines and banjo...

    No start woes

I've got a non-traditional start problem. Mine's a 90GT, laundry list of bolt-ons, but all stock ignition. Ran fine last week, into it a few days ago, she turns over, but no start. I've read jrichker's detailed posts on "no start" issues, and have not yet tried the list, as this seems to...

wireing problem in the steering colomn

Also check the main wiring harness inside the column, next to the ignition. Mine was loose even when connected. I sporadically had power to the car when trying to start it. I held the wiring harness together and zip-tied it, problem solved. Good luck.

    AFR heads, intake/cam?

I'm running the 165's with a cobra intake on a 306 with a E cam and stock injectors. Great streetability, especially with 5 speed and 373's. I also have 190 lph pump. I think I need to upgrade injectors to get the most, though...

    2005 and up wheel fitment

I must be a moron for two reasons, at least that I can see. First, when I quote someone, it doesn't look like anyone else's. Second, I don't see the link for the info you're referring to. And if I didn't mention it, you were right. The s197 wheels looked at home on the Fox body. Given the...

    2005 and up wheel fitment

You two are confusing the hell out of me. Aren't the 94-04 wheels actually more suitable for the rear, since the rear track appears narrower than the front? The narrower the track, and the less the wheel offset (positively), why wouldn't that make the wheel fill up the rear wheel well moreso...

    2005 and up wheel fitment

MM&FF covered this a few issues ago. They have a pic of a Fox GT wearing the 05+ bullitts. They look great I checked the MM&FF website and couldn't find that article. I have an issue of 5.0 Mustang (Nov '06), where they covered a silver 93 GT ("Sage Advice") with a set of bullitts. This...

How do you install front spring???

My 90GT's went in like someone else mentioned. Reattach the strut, and place a jack underneath the inside of the "A" arm. Take out those two inner bolts, and lower the inside of the control arm as much as you need to fit the spring. Then jack the control arm back up into position, and replace...

New guy to boards needs help with rear end

One additional thought to jrichker's post: before you remove the drive shaft to see if it is balanced, check to make sure the drive shaft is securely bolted to the pinion flange. If those four bolts are loose, that will cause a bad vibration throughout the drivetrain.

    2005 and up wheel fitment

Alright, I searched previous threads and didn't see any info. I'm currently collecting parts for my 90GT to swap the brakes to the Cobra set up. I have the front set up off of a 98 Cobra, and will be looking for the rear set up soon. I understand the front brakes will give me a greater track...
